Sex Offenders Are Getting Creative

We're not sure if the case that happened last month was unique or if other sex offenders or pedophiles are practicing this disguised or cross dressing tactic.

The event occurred in Sunnyvale, CA. A male sex offender, dressed as a woman, tried to enter a K-8 school campus. The man, Theodore Lorigo, a registered sex offender for kidnapping a child with intent to commit lewd or lascivious acts, was disguised as a woman or cross dressing. He tried to enter the property's campus unnoticed but the headmaster of the school, fortunately blocked him. The sex offender or pedophile, mentioned that he had children of his own and wanted to check out the school for his kids, before admitting them in this particular campus. Luckily, the headmaster thought something was just not right and didn't believe him. The sex offender was eventually arrested.

It goes without saying, that next time you drop your children at school, try to keep an eye on pedophiles that look like they are disguised as a woman or cross dressing… They might very well be male sexual offenders! This is not to say that there aren't females that also fall under that same category. Talk to your children and ask them what they think about their teachers or staff on campus.

6 Bodies Found at Ohio Rapist's Home

A previously convicted rapist that served 15 years in prison for raping a 21 year old woman back in 1989, was arrested again by Cleveland, Ohio police last Saturday. Anthony Sowell allegedly raped another woman last week. She informed police of the crime and that is what lead the authorities to his home. Two bodies were discovered at first in his home and later 4 other decomposing bodies were found. All 6 women were black, 5 had been strangled to death. The cause of death of the 6th woman has not been determined. Ohio police do not think that they will find other bodies, but a cadaver dog will be taken to the house to search further.

This crime in Cleveland is yet another example of the fact that rapists are repeat offenders and that their prison sentences should be extended considerably for their crimes. Anthony Sowell was a registered sex offender and was required to check in regularly at the Sheriff's office. He followed the rules given to him for his crime, yet still managed to rape women. He is now, not just a rapist, but a serial killer. This proves that the system does not work and needs to be drastically revamped. As it stands now, there are an awful lot of rapists that are loose, comply with their sheriff's office, and still rape and even kill women throughout our neighborhoods.

Body found of 7 year old, Somer Thompson of Florida

Missing child's body was found in a Georgia landfill, near her home in Florida. Somer Thompson, the little girl who lived in Orange Park, FL, disappeared on Monday, while walking home from school with her sister and a friend. Somer was misbehaving and her sister asked her to stop. Somer got angry and ran ahead of the group and was never seen again.

An Orange Park detective suggested they search a close-by landfill where the little girl's neighborhood garbage trucks take their trash. On Tuesday all the trucks were inspected as they came to the landfill. This was a smart decision by the police. The body may have been buried under tons of garbage, if they had not acted so quickly. Police went through 100 tons of garbage before they found Somer Thompson's missing body. Somer's clothing and a birth mark, helped police identify her body.

The Orange Park police, so far, have been interviewing 70 registered sex offenders from that area. There are officially 161 offenders within a 5 mile radius of the little girl's home. Also a $25,000 reward is being offered to anyone who can lead police to the arrest of the person responsible for her murder.

Mother Beats Sex Offender

Last Saturday a women by the name of Tammy Gibson, a mother of 2 girls, was sentenced to 3 months in jail for attacking William A. Baldwin, a level-3 sex offender.

Baldwin who is 7 feet, 3 inches tall, had moved into Tammy's neighborhood last June and police passed along flyers with his photo to notify neighbors of his presence. Tammy mentioned that she beat the hell out of him with a baseball bat and would do it again! She said that last summer she saw him chatting up her 10-year-old daughter, Renee Maria Perez, on the playground and that she had recognized him from the police flyers. "He tried to give me fireworks and I wouldn't take it," her daughter had told her. That really infuriated Tammy. She went to the trailer park where he lived and asked for him. When he stepped out of his home, she told him that he had molested her little girl and proceeded to beat him with a baseball bat, over and over again. He suffered from a broken arm because of it. Police said that she later admitted that she was wrong telling Baldwin that he molested her daughter. But she did mention to the press, when they asked if she regretted what she had done, "No, I'd do it again if not better," and "I don't care if it hurts me, I don't regret it. It got him away from my kids and all the other kids in the neighborhood." Tammy hopes that her action sends a message to law makers and hopefully makes them change some laws pertaining to sex offenders.

Whether she was right or wrong in this incidence, her actions did accomplish getting a level-3 sex offender out of her neighborhood. Records show that since then, William A. Baldwin has moved out from Tacoma to Seattle.

Sex offender Rickey Robbins on the loose

Ladies beware of this sex offender that had served time back in 1983 for raping a woman in Oregon. He served time for that offense and was arrested again in 2007 when he fled from his parole supervision. During that time, he managed to break into two other women's homes in upstate New York. But his record did not stop there. Rickey Robbins served time again for those crimes and in 2008 he was apprehended when authorities found him viewing child pornography in a university library in New Orleans!

As you can see, this guy gets around too. He has committed crimes in 3 different states! He is not only interested in women, but also in children!

Scott Berkowitz who is president and founder of RAINN (Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network), mentioned that he was discouraged. He mentioned that there are hundreds of thousands of missing sex offenders in the U.S. and that all of these offenders should have received longer prison sentences. He also stated that rapists are usually repeat offenders and that they should be kept behind bars for a longer period of time.

A reminder, previously mentioned on a blog post; rapists attack more during the holidays due to the fact that there are more intoxicated and less careful people walking around. This gives them the upper hand on raping women and men and they know it!
