There is no longer an activation fee of $9.95 on a TASER C2. On December 1st, TASER International announced they will no longer charge the activation fee, effective immediately.
Customers will still need to complete the background check and register the C2 with TASER International to activate it, either online or by calling their toll free number, but it will show $ 0.00 due.
