TASER C2, M18L and X26C Features

If you plan to purchase a TASER, there are basic differences between them that you might want to take into consideration. Below is a list of features each citizen model has. Included are the C2, M18L and the X26C. These are the only models available to the general public. Persons who wish to purchase any of these models, also have to pass a simple background check. This is to prevent felons from purchasing TASERS.

TASER C2
  1. Integrated ultra-bright LED (low intensity illumination)

  3. Capable of drive-stun without TASER Cartridge installed

  7. 3-Month standard warranty, with extended warranties available at activation
  8. Trigger safety cover
  9. Length of C2 with cartridge: 6"
  10. 1 Cartridge

TASER M18L
  1. Integrated 650 nm laser (used for target acquisition)
  2. Capable of drive-stun without TASER Cartridge installed
  3. Electrical charge can penetrate up to 2′′ cumulative of clothing, or one inch per probe
  4. Power Source: 8 AA batteries (included)
  5. Range: 15"
  6. 3-Month standard warranty, with extended warranties available
  7. Ambidextrous safety levers with Safe “S” and Fire “F” denotation
  8. Length of M18 with cartridge: 8"
  9. 4 Cartridges
  10. Hard carrying case
  11. Practice target

TASER X26C
  1. Integrated ultra-bright LEDs (low intensity illumination)
  2. Integrated 650 nm laser (used for target acquisition)

  9. Central Information Display (CID) 2-digit LED displays remaining DPM energy percentage, burst time, warranty expiration, unit temperature, illumination status and current time and date
  10. Video/Audio Recorder capable with optional TASER CAM
  11. Length of X26C with cartridge: 7.25"
