The No-Contact self defense jacket is a new jacket that may be available to the public in the near future. The jacket's name describes exactly what it does... it does not let you touch the person that is wearing it. Well, you can touch the person but you will get SHOCKED if you do! It's like wearing a stun gun on you. Basically you have a hidden switch in the sleeve that let's you activate it. The good thing about this jacket is that no one will know you have a weapon. The fact that it is worn, makes it less likely for an assailant to grab it from you. It is estimated that the jacket will retail between $600 and $700 and all it needs is a 9 volt battery (just like a stun gun). This is pretty expensive, but considering that it could save your life, it could very well be worth it. I've even posted on reviews of the jacket that the jacket is absolutely of no use if no one can buy it.
