Georgia woman, 26, sues dating website OkCupid after being set up with a RAPIST

• Hospital exam determined she had been sexually assaulted; Hartman was charged with rape and aggravated sodomy
• Hartman was convicted in December; he is serving two consecutive life sentences

OkCupid is being sued by a woman who was raped by a man she knew from the website.

Devin Richard Hartman, of Mableton, Georgia, used the name 'Zach Anderson' on an OkCupid account, and met up in June 2014 with a 26-year-old woman who he met on the website.

The woman reported having six beers while with him at a bar before later waking up on her doorstep without her keys, cell phone or underwear, and believes she was also drugged.

An exam conducted the day after they met determined she had been sexually assaulted, and Hartman was charged with rape and aggravated sodomy.

While she was at Grady Memorial Hospital where she had the exam, drugs were not found in her system, however, police said drugs could have been out of her system by the time of the screening, according to the AJC.

The woman's lawsuit, the AJC reported on Wednesday, claims that 'OkCupid defendants failed to exercise reasonable care in operating its website, monitoring users, screening users, and acting on reports of rape and sexual assault.'

The woman and Hartman met on June 20, 2014, at TAP bar in Midtown Atlanta, and she was under the impression that she was meeting with Zach Anderson.

The woman told investigators she had drinks with Hartman before her date dropped her off at her car.

She later blacked out and woke up on the doorstep of her Brookhaven home.

The next day, she went to Grady Memorial Hospital where she took an exam that determined she had been sexually assaulted.

Police were able to link Hartman via phone records and DNA evidence, according to My Fox Atlanta. He was arrested on March 2, 2015.

Hartman was accused of rape by another four women testifying in his trial, MyAJC reported.

Convicted in December, he is now serving two consecutive life sentences, the website said.

'The suit alleges that OkCupid.com and its parent companies should have known Hartman was a predator and should not have permitted him to use the site,' MyAJC.com wrote.

OkCupid did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Farhan Khan, 27, of Franklin Square, LI, allegedly accosted the 35-year-old woman in a room at the Comfort Inn on West 71st Street just steps from Central Park at around 3 a.m. on Dec. 30, sources said.

Khan, convicted of drug possession in 2014, allegedly tied her up before making the threat, sources said.

He allegedly threatened her with a hammer and yelled, “Don’t fight, and I’ll let you go, I’ll let you go soon,” according to sources.

He allegedly forced her to give him oral sex before raping her, sources said.

She broke free and fled.

Khan was held without bail at his arraignment in Manhattan Criminal Court.

Sex Offenders Are Getting Creative

We're not sure if the case that happened last month was unique or if other sex offenders or pedophiles are practicing this disguised or cross dressing tactic.

The event occurred in Sunnyvale, CA. A male sex offender, dressed as a woman, tried to enter a K-8 school campus. The man, Theodore Lorigo, a registered sex offender for kidnapping a child with intent to commit lewd or lascivious acts, was disguised as a woman or cross dressing. He tried to enter the property's campus unnoticed but the headmaster of the school, fortunately blocked him. The sex offender or pedophile, mentioned that he had children of his own and wanted to check out the school for his kids, before admitting them in this particular campus. Luckily, the headmaster thought something was just not right and didn't believe him. The sex offender was eventually arrested.

It goes without saying, that next time you drop your children at school, try to keep an eye on pedophiles that look like they are disguised as a woman or cross dressing… They might very well be male sexual offenders! This is not to say that there aren't females that also fall under that same category. Talk to your children and ask them what they think about their teachers or staff on campus.

Miami Police In Pursue Of A Rapist

If you live in Miami Florida, you should be aware that there is a rapist in the North East section of the city that attacked and raped a woman.

Police have gotten information from several eye witnesses that have seen a suspicious individual which matches a photo of this rapist. Police also say that by the way witnesses have described him, he seems to be the type that has repeated his crime and is very arrogant and dangerous. This individual raped a woman in broad daylight, according to Miami, Florida police. He jumped into the passenger seat of a women's parked car and forced her to go into the back seat of her car. He later raped her, after driving a few blocks. Witnesses also say that he has a peculiar arrogant walk. Click here to view video!

Man Rapes Woman and Tells Her, I Just Gave You HIV.

It happened in Philadelphia, PA, at around midnight on August 29th. The woman was raped and beat continuously and then passed out. 

Police authorities say the raped woman's face was almost unrecognizable from the beating and they suspect that the rapist who claimed he had HIV, raped and assaulted her for several hours. She was taken to the hospital and stayed for several days. She also was tested for HIV, but the results were not declared.

After the Philadelphia police couldn't find the rapist, they finally had to make it public, in hopes of catching the rapist that presumably has HIV. The rapist is approximately 5 feet, 9 inches tall. He is a thin black man and appears to be in his 20s, with a medium complexion and short black hair. The police have also released this video.

A Handicapped Woman was Kidnapped in New York City

This horrible kidnap story from New York has been overlooked by other important news today, yet it doesn't make it any less devastating. A 58 year old New York woman, who is partially paralyzed was coerced by Patrick Donavan and Mae Washington, into leaving her assisted living facility, last January. She has been kidnapped since then. The woman, who's name has not been disclosed, was found malnourished and bruised. Her hands, legs and mouth bound with tape, plus doctors found multiple bone fractures, including a broken arm, several cracked ribs, dislocated shoulder, lacerations throughout her body and malnourishment.

Patrick Donavan and Mae Washington basically convinced her into moving into their home, take care of their dog and told this poor woman, it would be less expensive than living at the facility she was in. They proceeded to lock her in one of their bedrooms, basically kidnapped her, while they have been cashing her social security checks and buying things for themselves. New York authorities charged Patrick Donavan and Mae Washington with kidnapping, assault, unlawful imprisonment and endangering the life of a disabled person. These two can face up to 25 years to life in prison.

Domestic Violence Among Illegal Immigrants

With all the talk about illegal immigrants crossing our borders lately, specifically in Arizona, it was brought to my attention the dilemma of illegal domestic violence victims trying to get help. An illegal immigrant woman that has been beaten by her husband cannot go to the police for help. Arizona law would allow police officers to question a woman's residential status. This in turn would get her deported and the man that abused the woman would probably disappear from Arizona and go to another state!

How does this sit with you? Is she entitled to be protected by our police, even though she doesn't pay taxes? Many illegal immigrants get medical care in this country, just as legal citizens do. Would this be considered a medical emergency? Should illegal immigrant domestic violence victims be helped?

Hofstra University Student is Gang Raped

A Hofstra University student in Hempstead, NY was raped by 5 men last Sunday. The 18 year old woman was in an on-campus nightclub and had danced with one of the men. After she danced with him, he snatched her cell phone. She pursued him to retrieve her phone and was forced into the man's room. She was allegedly raped by the man who is also a student at Hofstra University and 4 others. Police say 4 of the men have been arraigned on rape and other charges but 1 is still at-large.

A WomenOnGuard.com customer in Texas, uses TASER on a client

A customer of WomenOnGuard.com called us on the phone today. She lives in Texas and purchased a TASER X26c from us last week. The woman wanted to let us know that she had to use her TASER against one of her clients and also wanted to thank us.

Atlanta Woman Uses Taser Gun to Help Officer in Distress

Wow, a woman actually helping the police! She is definitely a hero in our book. Her name is Tanisha Cross and she is from Atlanta, GA.

She ran to her baby's diaper bag and got out her stun gun. She asked the officer if she could help and he said "Yea". Tanisha went ahead and stunned the attacker in his arms and legs. The officer was able to regain his composure and fight back until a security guard came to help.

Tanisha mentioned that she was just doing the right thing and that she was glad that the attacker was not able to take the officer's gun!

Woman Left Near Dead After Being Brutally Attacked by Two Homeless People
